Raven-Symone Is Making Her Mark!

Love muffins you can call Raven-Symone a lot of things: t.v. producer, movie producer, singer, songwriter, actress, but do not call her a kid. Most of us remember her from the hit and majorly influential The Cosby Show as little ‘Olivia’.

“I just want people to see that I’m not a little kid anymore,” the 22-year-old said in a recent interview while on a rehearsal break for her nationwide tour.

Unfortunately the tour has been pushed back due to unforeseen circumstances. However, that didn’t stop Ms. Raven - she still released her self-titled album last month. She tries to be a positive influence and advocate to young girls by telling them to love who they are inside and outside. Now if that doesn’t deserve a title of being divinely splendiferous, then I don’t know what does. Go ahead girl and work it.

Raven is a positive role model, and in a world filled with young celebrities who are struggling to grow up themselves Raven has proven very capable of maintaining her maturity in spite of her fame. Unfortunately, this has also caused her to be overlooked in many instances, but either way she’s doing the damn thing.

If Raven was skinny she’d get way more press than shes getting now. which is none. im happy shes not starving herself and that shes doing ehr thing in the industry. its sad that the media give attention to ppl who cnt act, sing, or get arr3sted for various crimes. umm this society. well as i said b4 im happy Raven didnt succumb to the pressure of fitting in and wilding out like lindsay, brittany, shit even jamie lynn, micha and others.

I have a lot of respect for Raven, shes postitive, and keeps it classy unlike many young a-list celebs who are famous for nothing.

It really pathetic that mainstream media don’t pay any attention to people of colour, why is it that lindsay lohan makes the cover of a mag when she hasnt released a film in years, but not someone like Raven or J-hud? There is an evident bias that goes on in Hollywood, this is why people like Raven dont get media attention.
