May 16, 2008 A&E Bringing ‘The Dog’ Back!
Love muffins last year Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman star of A&E’s Dog The Bounty Hunter shocked us all when a private conversation became very public. Dog was recorded by his son repeatedly using the N-word. Jesus take the wheel, I don’t know which direction to go with this one. A&E stand behind their man saying:
“It’s not about ratings,” A&E spokesman Michael Feeney said. “We know his heart. We know him and know he’s not a racist.”Reruns of Dog the Bounty Hunter are expected to begin airing June 25, followed by all-new episodes a few weeks later.
If that is not the most false statement saying it’s not about the ratings. Come on Mr. Feeney you know a lot of people are going to tune in to see if he is going to continue to apologize or act like it never happened. Some people will most certainly do it if you let them. Everyone does deserve a second chance because we are all human, but come on now. If you were a fan before, are you going to tune in to the new season?

Yeah, he’s not racist because people who are NOT racist use words like that!
Shame on him and what a coward. He needs to just come out and say he’s a racist and ignorant to boot because saying anything else is just sad and plain wrong!
…imagine what he says about other folks that aren’t like him, eh?
And yes, it’s about ratings!

It’s PATHETIC that A&E will stoop to any level for ratings. I for one will no longer support or watch A&E, The History Channel or Biography.
Dog = Racists, white trash & f*ugly(also applies to “Dolly” drag queen on his arm)

I used to be a fan. I watched the show all the time. I will not be watching it now. I heard the tapes and the way he expressed himself revealed his true self to me. I am no longer a fan, and I will not help his ratings!

I didn’t like the show before, and I definitely won’t watch when it comes back. I’m not surprised by A&E bringing it back. I hope he bathes prior to his return. He always looks dirty as hell, and that wife needs to buy some clothes that fit… I’m just sayin…

I was a huge fan before the “incident”. I might catch an episode but its not on the top of list to watch now.
