May 14, 2008 The Real World: Brooklyn!
The Real World just got the okay for another season and this time they are going to Brooklyn, New York! Shooting for Real World 21 begins this summer. The co-creator said “The Brooklyn season, like the Hollywood season, will focus on what people loved about ‘The Real World’ when it launched in 1992 – genuine people, meaningful conflict and powerful stories.” Love Muffins, will you be watching?!

Yeah, I remember the first one back in the day.
The Hollywood season is good. Finally, they are bringing it back.
The Hawaii and Vegas season were the best ones. (LOL).
I want to see a REAL WORLD ATL.. that would be something

I remember the first one. The black guy was named Kevin. And remember the chick from Alabama(or somewhere south!)? I probably will not watch, but I agreed with licia, Real World ATL would be something else!

MTV will always be out the one (angry) black dude with all the white kids. And vapid gay menzes. I’m not going to name names, but the Real World proved that gay people can be boring, too. God Bless Pedro and his then BF though.
It’s late in the game for any show execs to claim a ‘return to its roots.’ MTV went from giving a voice to artists and spearheading a new form of entertainment (that is the music video, NOT reality TV) to The Hills and Sorority Girls. How ‘REAL’ is that? MTV must be losing viewers, because they lost long ago whatever cultural relevance they courted in the early 90’s with ‘genuine people,’ ‘meaningful conflict,’ and ‘powerful stories.’

I agree Brian, there should be one in Atlanta, and I hope this season isn’t another homogeneous group of druken frat boys and girls
