OMG! Love muffins you have to listen to this little 15 year-old girl, Charice, completely work over Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” today on Oprah! I’m speechless!

    she has an AMAZING voice but it’s so obvious she’s 12 because I felt like she couldn’t relate to the song at all she sung the SHIT out of it but she wasn’t feeling it… when she gets older she’s going to destroy everyone!

    Charice is really talented; but I feel when she sings its soo staged, the emotions aren’t raw/natural.

    Shes a great singer and entertainer but I find shes an immitator not an innovator, i.e. when shes singing whitney she puts whitney’s voice on, when its christina its her voice she puts on, jennifer holiday…same thing, she copies other sounds

    When she finds her own sound vocally then she’ll be a real artist. (just my observation)

    Keeping it real – her voice was okay. It sounded however like she had something stuck in her throat at times trying to hard to have a bit of soul.

    Wow….gave me chills. I’m watching her sing shaking my head with this look on my face like I’m smelling some stanky stuff, lol…..that’s because this little girl put all kinds of STANK on that song. She done her thing. I’m talking to the screen and stuff, lol. I’m like “Go head girl”….what! Very talented young lady. She got it….for real.

    Charice can sing no doubt but i dnt feel her when she sing songs like this or others. she need her own material maybe then id feel her singing her own songs. shes just singing and thats it, and no she dnt have to be jumping around the stage whoopping and hollering but damn show some type of emotion, LOL

    I’ve seen her performing other songs. When she would sing a Whitney song, she would sound a lot like Whitney. But if she would sing other artists’ songs such as those of Jennifer Holiday/Hudson, Beyonce, Fantasia, Christina Aguilera, etc., she would sound different. She sounds far BETTER than them! She has a “bubly” personality and sometimes could not keep herself smiling while singing “seriously-themed” songs; but I thinks it’s part of her still being a teenager. She’s really amazing!!
