May 8, 2008 Restrained Suspects Beating Down By Cops!

Love muffins, I am stunned over the video footage I just saw which occurred Monday night! Suspects, who were restrained, were beaten down by cops. Those cops mollywhopped those suspects!

“We certainly are concerned about what we saw on the tape,” Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey told reporters Wednesday afternoon. “The matter is being taken very seriously, even though emotions run very high in our department right now, because we just had our third officer killed in the last two years … obviously, that puts a lot of stress and pressure on the officers.

I wonder what the punishment will be towards the cops. If I was in handcuffs and wasn’t a threat to anyone, but I still caught a beat down by police officers, you better believe that B. Scott is suing! Everyone has rights, including suspects! Jesus take the wheel! Watch the video on Cnn.

  • This totally and completely getting way out of hand. This is going on way too much and again probably no consequences! I don’t care what was done before hand, it does not take the accessive force of 12-15 police to take down 3 damn people, and then to exscuse it because an officer died? and to also state that there was two sides to every video? WTF is going on? I know I would be suing also, but if they find them not guilty would I get paid?

  • I don’t understand the purpose of them jumping the suspects. As long as and they are not resisting arrest violently, then there’s no reason for it. 16 cops for 3 suspects…wonder who didn’t get their 911 call answered?

  • All we see is the beating. There could be way more to this story besides what we see here…. to be continued.

  • The video looks awful, very Rodney King-ISH, but we don’t know what happened before that. I wanna know more about the events before they started the beat down.

  • all i have to say is, “would you like vaseline with that next time..ma’am? WTF!

It’s not even worth the effort it takes to conjur up a syllable urgh!

  • i know my spelling is wack…ohz wellz

  • punishment for cops? hhaha yeah right…

whatever the case is.. karma is a biznitch….

Well lets think about this…Sean Bell was shot 50 times, and didn’t have a weapon. I sense that these cops will be let off the hook. I can see the Defense attorney’s re-enacting the Rodney King case, and convince the jury that there is more to the tape and to ignore the brutality.

  • There is no way to justify what those cops did. Even if those guys are guilty of the crime they are accused of, the police had no right to beat them in the streets. These cops won’t get off so easier. It’s difficult to prosecute police brutality because police officers are reluctant to speak out against each other. Luckily in this case, there is video. Corruption runs deeps. If that many officers are willing to boldly violate procedure, the whole department is corrupt.

There was a tape of Rodney King getting brutalized by the police dept, and the police officers were acquitted! Each and every one of them! Lets hope that history won’t repeat itself.
