Say What?! Spencer To Name Child ‘Dunk’

Love muffins we have a picture here of Spencer and Heidi from MTV’s The Hills at the Kentucky Derby. I’m surprised they can be caught taking a picture without a foot in their mouth. Recently the two were on The Tyra Banks Show.

“I always wanted to name my child ‘Dunk’. We were probably going to do it if we adopt an african baby because he will probably end up being tall, so we’ll name him ‘Dunk’”.

Let me take a pause to breath…take me higher lord! Some people think that adopting children overseas are a fad and the “hot” thing to do right now. If you are going to help them, then help them - do not adopt a child to gain status amongst celebrities. Jesus take the wheel before I mollywop these people. Thoughts?

   My problem is what he said - read this again:

   Why did he assume that because a baby is African, it will probably be tall anyway?!?!

   So if he adopted a baby of another nationality, he wouldn’t name it “Dunk”?

    i CAN believe he said something like that. what i CAN’T believe is that tyra didn’t say sh*t. that sh*t wasn’t cool at all. adopting african babies is not an “in-thing”. you do it because you want to. not just to jump on the bandwagon of trying to become a REAL celebrity because that’s what they’re doing. D-listers trying to climb up to A-status with F-status comments like that. i was offended to an extent but that just shows how ignorant people are. i mean, it’s offensive to black people anyway, but i mean, these kids that are over there are suffering more than spencer and heidi or anyone of us can imagine and they’re treating it like it’s a game or like they’re going to get a pet or something. these kids are being adopted so that they can have a better life and get out of the environment they’re in, not so that they can be paraded around like a joke.
