Love Muffins, I couldn’t get this song out of my head! This was the jam back in the day! I remember when people were saying Rockwell sounded just like Michael, only to find out later that it was Michael singing the hook, not Rockwell. Oh wait…the history of the song…
He mentioned in an interview that while he was growing up in his parent’s home, they were always surrounded by the papparazzi (did I spell it right again?! whateva lol) Anyway, the concept of the song came from the papparazzi always surrounding their home constantly taking pictures, and as a child he would see them sneaking these pictures with their cameras.
So that’s why he put out this hit back in 1983.

I was a little girl when this came out and I have to say I was actually scared of Thriller more than this video. This video, for some reason didn’t scare me as much back then. I just remember having thoughts of “what the hell is that?” LOL Seriously, because so many strange things kept happening in the video…like the water turning to blood.
