As the most hardcore mariah fan i just wanna ask, whats the point of this?
Anyone here will know that id do anything for mygirl and support her to teh end, but where are the remixes to the level of the old days?
During Rainbow, by the second single we’d had heartbreaker remix and thankgod/make it last. both INCREDIBLE. With the exception of Jays pretty standard rap, her repeating his words and then j.d going ‘uh’ over the track and a new synth, is EXACTLY the same. Nothing is new. She doesnt even re sing.
Mariah, I love you with all my heart, but this is hardly a remix. Like…even the emancipation remixes were better than the e= ones, and they werent the best of her career, espec in comparison to how good the actual original tracks were.
im sorely sorely dissapointed.

It just hit me….hard.
I noticied it before but it really stands out to me today.
Mariah dresses like a a woman who has no talent & is trying to throw you off my dressing half naked ALL the time.
This is my gurl!
I love her voice & she puts it down ALL the time!

First off, Mariah has done WORK throuhout her career. Hardest working woman in showbiz in terms of giving you a remix that is actually another song altogether, because she recreates it and gives you fresh vocals and basically a new song. Ok, so on this one she uses Jay Z and doesnt change it up so much…SO WHAT! Give the girl a rest! She gave you 14+ BANGIN tracks..can the girl catch a break? Think about WHY she did the remix the way she did and then rethink your opinion on it. Lets not be selfish here. Secondly, about the clothing – thats an old pic….and nobody is spot checkin you leavin out the door…im sure SOME of you clothing options are questionable to some others..so lets not judge. Mariah, you can wear a napkin for all i give a damn!

Loveeeeee this Jay-z his my all time favorite rapper and Mariah is one of my all time favorite singers besides Beyonce and Alicia

You ever had a good friend but then realize that you are going on different paths. You both have changed but not drastically. You just find the things they do just don’t sit well with you (anymore). That’s where I am with Mariah. I only bought E=MC2 out of support for the person not the music. R.Kelly’s remix is the only reason why I now love TMB. This, no thank you. It’s not you it’s me.

*sigh* Yall aint goin ruin my Mariah high with this nonsense talk! Ive been down for Mariah since day 1 and i havent always loved some of the directions some of her songs/vocals have taken. There was a point where she was kind of struggling with this…schizophrenic vocal…whisper/chest voice/whisper/chest voice…and while i love mariah anyway i can take her, I was wondering what that was all about. Well … on Mimi and E= I find Mariah is back to form, in the form she can deliver it best at this point of her career. I love this album – and im not just saying that blindly. Virtually every track is a beast in it own right. I love it. Im glad i am, as a fan, in such a good place to receive Mariah for who she is and appreciate her gift and what she delivers to the fans. Thank you Mariah!
