April 11, 2008 Sex and The City Soundtrack

Sources report that both Fergie and Jennifer Hudson are singing on the soundtrack of the ‘Sex and the City’ movie that is set to be in theaters May 30th – and oh believe me – I can’t even see this movie quick enough. ‘Sex and the City’ director MICHAEL PATRICK KING says that Fergie sings the film’s opening number, “Labels & Love,” which is a totally new song and describes it as having “the ‘Sex and the City’ theme as the DNA — on steroids.” King says that Oscar winner Hudson, who also stars in the film as SARAH JESSICA PARKER’s sassy assistant, sings the ballad “All Dressed Up in Love” over the closing credits “like nobody’s business.” Love Muffins – after all of this time – are you still excited about seeing ‘Sex and the City’ come to life on the big screen?

  • IM LIKE SOOO OVERLY EXCITED AND CANT WAIT, EVEN THOUGH IT SEEMS LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO COME OUT SUCH A LONG TIME AGO…AND THE SOUNDTRACK SOUNDS COOL..EVEN THOUGH FERGIE ISNT THE BEST SINGER TO ME, BUT I GUESS SHE IS GONNA SING SOME UP BEAT TYPE OF SONG

  • Girl, I can’t wait for this movie!!

I am currently catching up with the old Sex & the City episodes. It is fun to wait for Netflix to send me each disc!

Sex and the City always teaches me something about either love, sex or life in general. It knocks my socks off!!

  • THE MOVIE, JENN IN IT, THE GIRLS, THE SOUNDTRACK!!! ANTICIPATION LIKE A MOFO!

  • I think that ended the series on a great note, but it will be nice to see Kim Catrell again.

  • Im sooo excited about the movie and the soundtrack will only heighten my anticipation.

  • I’m very excited to see the movie because I loved the series. However, I really hope calling Jennifer Hudson the “sassy” assistant is not the “ghetto” assistant. They’ve had very few black people on this show and I’d be really disappointed if the one black character with some significant screen time (besides Blair Underwood who played a doctor), I would hate to see her act in a stereotypical “ghetto” way. I hope SATC is better than that.

  • i am toooo excited!
MAY 30, cant come by soon enough!!!
