THE April 3, 2008 New Video: Madonna and JT – 4 Minutes
It wasn’t supposed to premiere until tomorrow but Madonna’s new video for “4 Minutes” was just made available on Itunes today. It’s futuristic with lots of computer effects. Thoughts?

Too much time waiting for this? I’ve been expecting more creativity, if we compare it with other Jonas & François jobs (like Justice D.A.N.C.E., the t-shirts video) … It’s Madonna and this video looks X.

Madonna looks great for an old fart and eventhough I dont like JT, he looks rather handsome BUT Im not feeling this song and the video. It is boring and dry. And let me say this…Im sick of that Timberland sound.

Fun. Wasn’t feeling this music style on her, but I am all on this song now. Few things: I didn’t get the concept at first look. I wish leather would get played out. I love her walk & the whole treadmill scene.

I asked my 12 yr old if she liked the song. She liked Justin, she liked Timberland, she didn’t like the old white lady (didn’t know she was Madonna) and REALLLLY didn’t like it when I told her Madge was almost 50. EWWWWWW

The song was blah. But Madonna knows she’s going to be chipped in because she’s M A D O N N A ….the second best marketing woman in entertainment (behind Lady O[prah]). So I know that her dedicated fans who want to be her will line up to buy this no matter what it sounds like. Madonna is a marketing genius no doubt. All these other no singing pop tarts take note. Image is what sales…nothing more nothing less.
