Last night was the opening night of the historic “Cat On A Hot Tin Roof” Broadway stage play. It’s historic because the play has never been performed by an all black cast.

Phylicia Rashad (Cosby Show, A Raisin in the Sun), Terrence Howard (Hustle&Flow, Crash) the legendary James Earl Jones (The Roots, Lion King) and Anika Noni Rose (Dream Girls, Princess&The Frog) are receiving rave reviews already for their phenomenal performance on opening night. Debbie Allen (FAME, Different World) is the director.

The youngest contestant to ever win Bravo TV’s Project Runway – Christian Siriano is the winner of this years highly acclaimed television reality series that gives fashion designers the opportunity to compete for the chance to show their designs during Fashion Week in NY, to wow industry higher ups with their performance throughout the season, and to win $100,000.

Eve Carson Student Body President and a senior, at The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill was found murdered Wednesday in a neighborhood near the university. It was not until Thursday that the public learned her name. Only half of the murder mystery has been solved. Now police are focusing their investigation on her SUV. Eve’s blue 2005 Toyota Highlander was found Thursday after police received a call from a Chapel Hill resident. The SUV was located on North Street near Hillsborough Street in Chapel Hill.
The vehicle is being processed and police say they have no suspects. Being an Alumni of UNC my heart goes out to Eve’s family and the entire UNC community!
