Work Your Weekend!

1. Drink This! “Green Agave Cocktail”

image005.jpg

This green refreshment offers a surprising twist on the usual tequila based beverage. Make a few of these before you head out, and it’s guaranteed to be a party.

1 1/2 oz. Tequila Herradura Silver
3/4 oz. Melon liqueur
Lime

In a shaker, add tequila, melon liqueur and a squeeze of lime. Shake and pour into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of lime and serve immediately.

2. Watch This! August Rush

There aren’t too many new movies to pub this weekend, but we want to feature this moving family drama—August Rush. Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Keri Russell star in this film about two musicians who leave their child orphaned. He is discovered years later with an amazing musical talent that reunites his family. Most importantly, if you watched the Oscars, you saw a young woman tear up the stage singing the nominated song “Raise It Up”. Jamia Simone Nash’s power, soul and emotion are the real reasons why we think you need to see this movie! Click HERE to watch.

3. Wear This! “Global Exotic”

This Spring is about unconventional, colorful, and exotic pieces as evidenced by the huge safari trend. If you’re looking for a way, try these bold and chunky rings. They’ll work with with anything, from the light and flowy dress to those safari shorts.

How do you feel about Day 26 from Diddy’s neverending series, Making the Band? Here’s a sneak preview of what we believe will be a new single…whenever that happens. And it’s the full version, not that snippet that’s been floating around!

5. Do This! “Go Green”

We’re talking about St. Patty’s Day. Although being environmentally conscious is another way you can go green, this is the weekend to celebrate that tiny bit of Irish we all have in our hearts. Grab a beer and hit the bars, clubs and lounges that all plan to take advantage of this big party weekend. And if you’re anywhere near downtown LA’s Pershing Square, check out Monday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade and concert starting at 11:30 am.

CL “Ask B. Scott” – Comment Highlight!

concreteloop_02/29/2008

“Morning,

My son is a 19 year old hemosexual and in all honestly I’m still not OVER IT however, I’ve been listening to B.SCOTT for almost a year now and he helps me more than he’ll ever know.

Face it folks, YOU CAN’T CONTROL who or what your kids, brothers, sisters or even parents WILL be. What I’ve learned throgh B.SCOTT is ………..You have to accept people for WHO they are and not for WHAT they are. I love my son and regardless of how he plans on living his life, I’m still and will always be his mother. I can say I TRULY understand some of the comments on the site “in regards to not understand or even liking the whole B.Scott post”. HOWEVER it’s not what B.SCOTT does when he’s off line that any of us should be concerning ourselves with BUT the positive words and kind spirit he brings forth every single time he does a video!!

PLEASE DON’T STOP B.SCOTT, you are truly an inspiration to me and I’m sure others.

DOUBLE K i s s e s : )”

Love muffins, don’t forget to support me by leaving comments on Concreteloop HERE. Thanks!
