March 30, 2008 New Music: Leona Lewis – Misses Glass
UK breakout star Leona Lewis who just scored her first Billboard Hot 100 #1 with “Bleeding Love” will be releasing her debut album here in the United States on April 8th! The US version of her album will include two new songs “Forgive Me” and “Misses Glass”. I must admit that Leona has really grown on me, especially with “Misses Glass” which was written & produced by Madd Scientist & RockCity. Let me know what you think about this uptempo ballad!

I love Leona and the song is cute, but in order for her to make it big here in the states, she has to come harder than this. She’s being marketed as vintage Mariah with a cd full of ballads and that doesn’t sell

Me no likey. It sounds weird. UK pop music hits are different from ours here in the US.

Actually, that doesn’t even sound like anything from UK….After bleeding love I was expecting more, now I just think they are pushing her towards the wrong direction because they want her to be a hit. I don’t like the song. Man, go back to your roots…She’s sounding too American now.
