When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.

~ Alexander Graham Bell (Scottish born American Inventor and Educator, best known for the invention of the telephone in 1876. 1847-1922)

  • No comments!!? Last night I had a dream (as I do often) that I was traveling with lots of baggage on top of a large skyscraper and as I looked around all of a sudden I saw a meteorite hit the bottom of my building and it start a fire. I said “Oh No, God I need an escape!!!”" I ran back up to the roof and saw a very large and LONG ladder. There’s my escape maybe I can climb down before the building is all on fire. But I had a lot of baggage with me and went back and forth on whether to try and climb with my baggage down the ladder or just leave it. I knew that if I had tried to climb with the baggage my ladder would have wobbled and fallen. So as I hurt as I was to leave my new shoes and certain favorite clothes that was in the luggage I decided to leave it regretfully.:(

So I climbed down the ladder and got away as the fire continued to blaze.

Moral of the story when God gives you a way out …don’t try to take your old baggage. You’ll end up messing yourself up. You must be ffree of all that baggage. This dream kept me up as I tried to figure out what it meant. Any comments?!
