Singer/actress and national spokesperson for The North Shore Animal League, Mya stopped by the Annual North Shore Animal League’s Tour For Life in Port Washington, New York. Mya is still looks gorgeous after all these years. My question is, when is she going to release her new album Liberation? Does anyone know?

Uhh!! I think liberation is permanently shelved. It’s a shame the snippets that were floating around were amazing. What is wrong with the record companies not supporting their artists.

My boyfriend said he read somewhere that she either ditched Liberation or the lable did. Whatever the case may be its really sad cuz she had some good songs…..Oh well, at least Beyonce has a new song!!! LOL!

yeah her label wasn’t doing much, i mean Ridin’ was a smash, and Lock U Down could have been something, when will people & RECORD LABELS learn if ur not singing ur song somewhere, promoing it, it’s not going to get shine, i mean bonafide stars, madonna, beyonce, mariah can just release shit, but i mean janet, after her shunning, she’s gotta work like the kelly rowland’s and mya’s, so come on, she didn’t sing it anywhere, just expected to have a hit and i was checkin for Ridin, Ayo and Lock U Down and EGO TRIPPIN’…i’m still waiting Mya, i’m still check for her cuz her dancing and singing skills r ill, check her out rehearsing:

Whenever she releases whatever I so don’t want to here it. To me she only had that one song years ago with Sisqo and that was it. Anything else sounded like a whining, clueless teenager. Have you heard “Ridin”? She’s done I hope. Besides look at her competition!

Where have you all been? Liberation leaked like crazy last year. It was Ok when I heard it. Nothing to make me go crazy over. I think she has a core that she hasn’t tapped yet. It’s like she scratches the surface and if she wants us to feel her then she will have to go deeper.
She is not just an oversexed dancing kitten that she is pushing. There is something deeper. Just based on some of the things I’ve heard about her, there is a deeper level she needs to go with. Forget giving a chick a hand and ridin around looking for her dude like some weak chick.

I just recently played “Moodring” & “Fear of Flying” thinking this is the shizz. Case of the ex was my video. But music industry has changed, they only allow in a very few with real talent, imo.
