mariah can sing, but she is more of a studio artist. she just doesn’t do it for me live.

I dont like to sound like the usual hater but I never really could get into Mariah live…. Her voice just sounds a lil off and my butt scrunches up when she hits certain notes….Love her CD’s just not her performances…

Mariah is one of those girls who has earned her keep. The song is definitely fiyah, classic mariah. She’s an excellent songwriter. I like her recent efforts, though I’ve heard nothing on the level of “Emancipation”. The performance…well…thank God she has the voice. Some things are better left heard and unseen.

I Know that You LOVE Mariah, as You indeed, Sing her Praises to the Heavens. However, Mariah has LOST her Gusto, as ALL of her Live, Promotional Performances have been HORRIBLE, Vocally. EVERYONE is saying so. This album is NOT going to be the Commercial Success of its Previous Effort, and certainly, the Level of Critical acclaim that its garnering, thus far, Plaes in Comparison. Mariah has taken her fans for granted, as she is ASSUMING that the Public will purchase her compilation based upon ‘Who She Is’. In essense, people WILL Support the album, moreso, out of Curiosity. Mariah, just as with janet, NEEDS to Step AWAY from this ‘Urban Umbrella’ that they Both BORROW in times of Desperation, as to appeal to a Mass Market of Music Goers. If they were to stay TRUE to the Art Forms and Genres that Solidified their careers in the First Place, then MAYBE they’d See TRUE Levels of Critical and Commercial Success. Im SICK of Mariahs Fluff, and Im almost POSITIVE that her First Week Sales, along with her Billboard Chart Positions are going to TEACH HER a Good Lesson in Artistic Integrity.
