March 14, 2008 Work Your Weekend!
1. Drink This! “Green Agave Cocktail”
This green refreshment offers a surprising twist on the usual tequila based beverage. Make a few of these before you head out, and it’s guaranteed to be a party.
1 1/2 oz. Tequila Herradura Silver
3/4 oz. Melon liqueur
Lime
In a shaker, add tequila, melon liqueur and a squeeze of lime. Shake and pour into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of lime and serve immediately.
2. Watch This! August Rush
There aren’t too many new movies to pub this weekend, but we want to feature this moving family drama—August Rush. Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Keri Russell star in this film about two musicians who leave their child orphaned. He is discovered years later with an amazing musical talent that reunites his family. Most importantly, if you watched the Oscars, you saw a young woman tear up the stage singing the nominated song “Raise It Up”. Jamia just always move me. I get goose bumps seeing this little girl sing. Proof that God gives gifts.
Day 26 is starting to annoy me. They have plenty of bangers on their album yet they are releasing filler material. Release ‘Silly Love’, ‘Co-star’, or something. They need to take advantage of the Spring Fever that is approaching when people come out the winter clothes ready to fall in love again.

I JUST watched August Rush, I come home, and you’re here posting about it.
I absolutely loved it. Touching movie. I lost all hope this weekend.. and this restored just a tiny bit of it.
