March 11, 2008 Britney Now Gets Allowance!
Britney Spears is now able to spend some of her money!
According to Eonline.com, A court commissioner on Monday approved a $1,500 weekly allowance for the beleaguered pop princess, whose financial affairs have been under the temporary control of her father and his attorneys for a month and a half…Jamie Spears is getting $2,500 a week from his daughter’s estate, plus funds to lease a car.
It’s good that she is able to receive some of the money that she worked hard for. Hopefully, she will use it to help her get better and to continue to fight for her kids! Love muffins, I just want to know why Britney’s father is getting more money then she is. Thoughts?

My thoughts exactly. Why daddy getting a larger portion?? I can not go down like that. Sorry, stable or unstable, that is shady. Please don’t make the mistake of thinking family will no doubt have your best interest because that is not always the case and this case smells funny.

Maybe because he had to leave his business and lifestyle to take care of his trainwreck daughter. She’s out of control and it’s about time she gets a cap put on that. He deserves the money he’s getting. I’m sick of everyone trying to make him out to be corrupt. Whatever.

he most likely gets a larger sum of money because he is basically the main care taker of britney right now, he handles the necessities needed for them both to live [ie., food] lets not get too hasty now after all jamie spears gets all the credit for taking control of britney when no one else could. think about it.

Her father is not “getting her money.” The money is given to him for Britney’s benefit. As her court appointed guardian, it is his duty to put the money to the best use to care for Britney.

i believe he gets more because he’s the primary care-taker of his daughter right now. being grown doesn’t have sh*t to do with it. it’s obvious she wasn’t able to care for herself on her own and if she needs 24 hr care until she’s able to do it on her own then so be it. he’s left his life to care for his daughters so he probably had to leave a job and his own life in order to do so. and i really don’t think the $2500 is soley his. i think it’s just another way to control her spending. she can what she wants with the $1500 but for extra needs/wants she has to get it from him and he controls whether or not she needs it. my thoughts only.
i love britney and hope she gets better soon
