Janet Jackson’s ‘Discipline’ Goes #1 & Covers Ebony!

Janet Jackson and Erykah Badu will come in #1 and #2 (respectively) on this week’s Billboard 200. Janet’s Discipline moved an unofficial 178,010 units in its first week to Erykah’s Amerykah 122,708. And love muffins please check out Janet gracing the April cover of Ebony magazine, you better do it girl! (B. Scott clapping for Janet and Erykah!)

Love Her!! She came to my job to shop about a month ago just her no body guards or nything I was totally shocked, I work in a Boutique in Atanta in the upscale area of Buckhead. Janet is sooooooooooooo tiny I had no idea she was that short & she was a doll. Very sweet humble and soft spoken. I was dying to get a pic with her but I couldnt because I was an employee and we had to stay calm.:(

Congrats to Janet. I hope the numbers are a little higher when the official count is released later today. She deserves to be back on top of the charts. Higher numbers just means she’d stay there longer. If you haven’t bought a copy of Discipline, please go do so. It’s an awesome album…

I have both cds and I like them, but I LOVE Janet’s cd. It is in heavy rotation in my home. I liked the last CD as well, but this one is funky, groovy, just what I need right now!

I’m happy for both of them. Although I wanted more from Erykah’s album. I’m ADDICTED to Janet’s right now from start to finish. And she worked hard this go around! Saving my money for the tour.

I’m so happy for Ms. Janet! I think that the numbers are low because most people download and burn everything. The CD is sexy and she’s bringing it back to da clubs! I’m also waiting for the tour.

E.Badu-SMH, I’m not feeling this at all. I think I was trying to love it b/c I usually love everything she does and its been awhile since she had a new album but I think she was on something or ego trippin when she did this. Not good.
