I know all of you makeup diva love muffins have a drawer full mascaras that you don’t even use! If I were to ask you why, I’m sure the answer would be, “They jus didn’t work for me.” Well, I’m about to give you the lash-down on what’s up with some new and oldie-but-goodie mascaras out there.

If you want those club-worthy lashes, you need to go pick up a tube of new Volume Clubbing Mascara from Parisian cosmetics company, Bourjois. Known for their mascaras, they have designed one with a special lash pumping comb/brush! This mascara is not for the timid. $17

If your looking for something to give you clean, defined lashes than Lancomes Definicils High Def Mascara is a go to. This has long been the top selling mascara in department stores, due to is design to lengthen and separate lashes in one clean swipe. $23.50

If you lack lashes and just want more, than go get a tube of Jane Cosmetis’ Hi-Fiber mascara. The brush separates, while the formula contains natural fibers that attach and extend to your natural lashes. It’s like a lash weave in a tube! $3.89 at drugstore.com

For those out-doorsy, active Love Muffins, we have Clinique’s new Lash Powder mascara. What’s great about this one is that the brush is tiny enough to get those baby lashes, while the formula has a 12 hour staying power, which removes easily with warm water! $14

i might have to try the Jane mascara. i absolutely LOVE mascara. one that i swear by is Loreal’s Double Extend and Voluminous in carbon black. i love double extend because it has the first coat you put on with keeps your lashed from getting crispy hard after the mascara dries and is easier to wash out. i love voluminous because it seperates OH-SO beautifully. been wearing voluminous for like 10 years now. extend hasn’t been out quite as long but i love them both.
AND i am a SEVERE MAC whore but i’m not very fond of their mascara. was a little too thick for me, made the lashes stick together and clumped. maybe it was me………. who knows :-D

Yay B! I’m a mascara fiend. I would like to add that while I have both a cheaper alternative to Lancome is Maybelline “define-a-lash” in very black. It retails for around 6-7 bucks and lengthen separates and define lashes. Its not heavy and my lashes look incredible no clumping. I always get compliments on my lashes and ppl can’t tell sometimes that i’m wearing mascara.
