amen to that! but umm the love that we’re suggesting is physical love, the love between a man and a woman or man and man & vice versa is convenient love, it’s there for its own convenience, God’s love isn’t.

But we do have the possibility of striving towards that kind of love with one another – so I don’t think that this scripture is just about the love that we have for Christ – but the love that we share with one another… as Christ was the example that we “Press towards the mark” trying to reach the “prize of the higher calling”

I will say that love is so beautiful and powerful. Love can be healing and I only wished we could use this gift more often.

that is the true most EXACT definition of love. that is how we are supposed to love. that definition isn’t just for our love for Christ it is to show us how to love one another whether it be friends, family, a lover, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, or wife. that is the way God loves us, that is how we reciprocate his love to the rest of his children.
