February 8, 2008 Work Your Weekend!
This one is probably for the strong of heart…and tongue. If you like to take a chance with your taste buds, give this one a try.
3 oz. Vodka
1 tsp. Vermouth
1 tsp. Grenadine
3 drops Tobasco hot sauce
Ice
Place Put Tabasco and grenadine in bottom of a martini glass. In shaker, place vodka, vermouth and ice. Shake to chill. Strain carefully into glass to give the red liquid a “red stain” effect in the center of the cocktail. Garnish with an olive.
2. Watch This! Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins
OK, so we’re suckers for comedies sometimes. If you take Martin Lawrence, Cedric the Entertainer and Mo’Nique and put them into one movie, are you not guaranteed a gut buster? If you want to get your funny on this weekend, check out Roscoe Jenkin’s return home to his family roots!
3. Wear This! “The Spring Crop Jacket”

Similar to the cardigan in its characteristic lightness, but obviously differing in length, the crop jacket is a great piece for your Spring wardrobe. From the wide, swing style to the fitted, double breasted, the crop jacket comes in a variety of styles for most body types.
4. Hear This! “Ying Yang Twins—Drop”

If this is the weekend that you plan to hit the streets, please go right ahead and get your blank CDs ready because this one needs to go on it! It’s just crunk from beginning to end.
5. Do This! “Anti-Vday Prep”

Valentine’s Day is not the most important holiday on the calendar, but it always seems to enlighten the hearts of those in love and shroud the day in gloominess for those who aren’t, so its effects must be powerful. That being said, we’re going to dedicate this bit to the singles who want to take their anti-Vday celebration to the next level. Don’t be the only one sitting at home! There are anti-Vday parties going on nationwide for friends to hang out with friends and singles to mingle with singles. And if you want to get your sugar on, check out this take on the traditional candy heart. CLICK HERE
