First Natalie Cole slammed the Grammy’s for awarding Amy Winehouse and now Aretha Franklin is pissed that the Grammy Writers for referring to Tina Turner as “the queen” during her performance with Beyonce. Here is what Aretha had to say.

“I am not sure of whose toes I may have stepped on or whose ego I may have bruised between the Grammy writers and Beyoncé, however I dismissed it as a cheap shot for controversy. In addition to that, I thank the Grammys and the voting academy for my 20th Grammy and love to Beyoncé anyway.”

Did anyone ever sit Aretha down and let her know that she isn’t really a queen. That’s the problem with Hollywood, you start to believe the crap people tell you. I think sometimes it’s better to sit down quietly or else you end up looking dumb and insecure…and that includes Aretha. Besides I wouldn’t go picking fights with Tina Turner, anyway. She may be 68 but I have no doubt she could kick me all up and down the stage with minimal effort. We all saw what she did to Ike Turner in that limo scene from “What’s Love Got To Do With It”.

I know Mariah’s people visit LBS so, this is for them: why are you shutting down lambs for promoting MC and allowing her fans the ability to download “Touch My Body” when it is all over the internet on limewire, zshare, rapidshare, can be easily googled by typing “Touch My Body” and the word “Zshare” and on countless other celebrity entertainments websites? Girlfriends has officially been cancelled and the network is not even planning to shoot a finale episode. The show was in the process of brining back Jill Marie Jones (Toni Childs) for the year’s season/series finale. The show is one year short of being being the longest running African American sitcom in television history. Longer than Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, Martin, A Different World, The Jeffersons, etc. It is currently tied for longest running African American sitcom of all time with The Cosby Show. And the source says that ninth year was something Mara Brock Akil (the show’s creator and executive producer) really wanted to accomplish and something that the team feels they should have been given an opportunity to do. This is tragic! Love Muffins will you miss the ladies of Girlfriends?!

Paris Hilton’s 18-year-old younger brother, Barron Hilton, was arrested Tuesday morning on a charge of driving under the influence, authorities confirm. The younger Hilton was driving a black Mercedes on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu when he was pulled over around 8:30 a.m., unnamed police sources tell TMZ.com. Barron is currently being booked at the Lost Hills Sheriff’s station. Take me higher lord!
