  B. SCOTT LUV MUFFIN why would you do that? People go out and buy this album and support good music. I’m interested to see if you do the same when Mariahs album comes out. I’m mad you couldn’t have just put a 30 second preview of the album hun.

  well I do it because I feel that online downloading actually helps sells…. for artists like Erykah Badu that will have a hard time selling… it helps create the buzz.. I know that might sound crazy but it’s true and once again Mimi’s album will be right up here with the rest of them… trust and believe that!

  people people… downloading has been around for ages– and trust me – THAT is not the reason that artists have poor album sales. For most ‘popular’ artists it is forgettable music that people don’t want to hear. I personally download because i can’t wait- but I go right out and support the day it comes out because it’s a different experience to see the artwork, read the liner notes, etc. I’d say more, but I don’t feel like typing a dissertation in here…

  B. THANK YOU BABE. I was about to go to Sabin’s and spend 20 of my last 30 bucks on this, just so I could have it early. I will CERTAINLY be in SOMEBODY’S store on 2/26/08 buying the CD. and would be in Texas for the release party if I could get a flight! LOL LOVE HER and LOVE THIS !

  Ok im 19 and ive done alot or maturing in the past few months emotional and in my taste in music BUT i must say im not really felling the new joint from erykah telephone and honey are my faves. but to her die hard fans i guess yall will like it

  I agree with you B. I do download quite a bit, but I will follow it up with a purchase. It does promote. I’ve gone back and purchased other albums from artists after “previewing” another release. I also will download a “leak” and then go on to purchase once the album is officially released.

  Ok… I have to agree with you a bit DJSTAR… It could be better. But I do in fact love her, and have been listening to it on Repeat. I’m trying to see what grows on me. It’s definitely no mama’s gun… NO SIR.
