February 10, 2008

Kanye West had a great performance. The dedication to his mother was really moving and one of the most memorable performances of the night.

I like Kanye, but he turns into a lil’ bitch when he doesn’t win.

I’m also glad he let them know that it would be in good taste to stop playing the wrap it up music when he was trying to give thanks to his mom in his speech!!!

Shanta, I also liked that part when he asked them to stop playing the music when he gave thanks to his mom.

Then he messed it up. That opened the door for all sorts of comments.

Vince Gill and the Beatle comment.
Usher and the there are no losers…Kanye comment.

    Loved it!

    HATE HIM OR LOVE HIM
…he lost his mother and the tribute was very touching. whether he is cocky or confident is irrelevant when commenting on his PERFORMANCE

Someone needs to tell this man to prepare a speech. He seems like he could suffer from ADHD. Because he just goes on some next sh*t when he’s in front of an audience, camera, and mic.

As I’m scrolling down B. Scott’s page of stellar grammy performances, it seems to get better and better, and oh my days - I did not expect to tear up like that.

Kanye, definitely big ups to you. Your mother is very proud of you.

    peace,
    Gian
