February 2, 2008 This Email Makes It All Worth It!
To read an email that really touched my heart
Hi B,
I don’t need you to respond, I just wanted to send you a note to let you know the impact you have had today. Up until about 10 minutes ago I would describe myself as “Homophobic and proud of that fact” I am a straight man very attracted to females and I have no desire to be with another man.
I am also a very strong believer in God, and recently have been seeking out truth with more fervor than ever before I have broken free from religion and all of its mental slavery and am in the process of finding myself In all of this I seek Gods guidance.
Then I came across your clip on you-tube and was trying to work out if you were a girl or just a pretty guy pretending to be a girl, because I wasn’t sure I watched another video and another until I realized two things.
1) After seeing “e-ballers likes him” you made it clear to me but by then it was too late: by this time I already liked the person you are, your energy, your essence, your advise, your sharing, all of it positive. I had been having a pretty shitty day/ week/beginning of the year, and from all that I had watched on you-tube this far yours were the only clips to lift my spirit.
2) You are such a beautiful person that (in the end) it never really mattered to me one way or the other what your gender when I realized you’re a guy, and admitted to myself I was attracted to you, I had to ask myself HOW? I have been straight my whole life, then it dawned on me, its not about gay or straight, those are the tags we put on people to create separation, Its about beautiful people, there are beautiful straight and gay people just as there are nasty evil straight and gay people.
I know this might be trivial to you, but being a straight (Neanderthal) guy in this politically correct society can be tiresome and confusing, being forced to accept something (gay rights) that contradicts my personal convictions made me resent the whole notion of freedom for all and judge an entire group of people without cause. I feel like you’re trying to spread love, positivity, a good energy, positive vibes, and somehow you filled me up, I felt like I had just had a cool refreshing drink. So as I say, respect where respect is due.
Thank you for being yourself, you are the most beautiful person I have ever seen on you-tube, and as I am in the UK and you are in the USA and we will probably never meet, know this I want nothing from you, this is not some kind of flattery, my soul has been in torment and the God I serve used you to quench the pain for a little while and for this I thank you.

Wow! If the whole world could just step back and realize this, we could all live in peace… together. Separation exists between many “groups” of people. These boundaries need to be crossed and stomped on. I think this guy’s writing is exceptional. It gave me goosebumps. Thanks B for sharing this and thank you to the man who wrote it.

That’s phenomenal. It’s great how you are able to touch someone is it not? I loved reading this letter. I’m not a religious person, but I don’t discredit religious people either, but this just shows you how most people use it to hurt others. I’m glad he decided to look at his life and better evaluate it. I hope he finds that inner peace. It’s a difficult task to admit you’re wrong and then try and fix it.

That was good. I feel him because I was like that 2 years agao. I fed on what others told me about people until I met my first gay. I was attracted to him because he was a great person & friend. I was scared but he had already opened my mind & my heart. I just heard about B. Scott & every video I’ve seen made me smile and that’s all we need everyday is to smile. Thanks.

I’m typeless.
That man just experienced what GOD meant when he said “love thy neighbor.” It’s not about religion it’s about mutual respect. B. Scott is serving as a voice for all of the lost souls out there who are hating for unknown reasons. Keep doing what you do B.Scott ~ you’re making the world a better place one person at a time.
