Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love (US Video Version)

Love muffins check out the US version of British singer Leona Lewis’ music video for her first single “Bleeding Love” which was shot last December in NYC and directed by Jessy Terrero. Leona looks just splendiferous in the video and I love the song but does she have star quality is the question? This UK songstress will release her debut album Spirit in the USA on April 8th.

I love Leona Lewis’ album SPIRIT. I found it a couple months ago and haven’t stopped playing it on my ipod since. I can’t wait till her album comes out cuz I will buy it even though I already have it. It is that good. =)

I hope she takes over from Mariah i’m tired of her, but i don’t get why Brit artists change their vids for the Americans, the first video was lovely. She’s a very lovely girl and i really hope she doesnt’ find her inner diva, because as good as diva is…. sweet and lovely is so refreshing by comparison

i like teh song, i have known about her for months now, and whoever claims sh eis better than Mariah can shut up, yes leona can hit a them notes and use her whistle registry, but she does not have the power that mariah has in her voice…all the same i like leona

I actually prefer the original video…much sexier…although she personally looks better in this one.

Can I just say, what do you mean “does she have the star quality”???? The United States is not the barometer for what’s quality or whether someone could be, or has the talent to be, a ’star’. Quite the opposite infact.
Leona’s debut album has already sold 1.6 million copies in the U.K alone - an incredible amount, and,in the countries it’s been released in so far, entered No.1 in the Uk,Ireland,Germany and Switzerland, No.2 Austria & Sweden,No.9 Italy and No.11 Australia.
Her first “winners” single sold 800k in the U.K alone and her official debut Bleeding love has to date sold 788k in the U.K,debuting at No.1 (and stayin there for 7 weeks) and also hitting No.1 in 12 other countries.
I don’t think whether or not she has “Star Quality” should be in question, be it whether ’star quality’ refers to her talent (which it should and is what matters) or her personality.

I’m sorry for the rant (and I don’t mean it in a “fuck you” way at allll) but the implication that her star quality will be determined by how she performs stateside, or that she may not be enough of a star for the U.S is insulting to not only an incredibly successful young woman such as Leona, but the millions of super talented artists or creatives out there that aren’t from the U.S.

I think she’s awesome!!And I agree why do they keep changing videos?The first one is way better than this. Wish her the best tho, either way us Europeans love her,so it doesn’t matter if you Americans don’t=P.lol

i LOVE LOVE LOVE Leona. in my opinion the UK version is nicer, gear is better, and she looks hotter in it, if thats possible. shes a very pretty girl and i love her voice. this song is one of my absolute favorite! 5 stars on my ipod YUP! YUP!

I love Leona Lewis. She’s very talented. However, I do think her image and music is very similar to Mariah Carey’s (specifically the 1992-1995 years).

I prefer da orignal video but I’ve heard her whole cd and I luv it!!..& I’ve watched her video from the X-factor on Youtube. She is very talented!! Beautiful voice!

Clive signed her to a 10 million dollar contract lets see if he introduces her and treats her with the INTRO he gave Whitney back in the 80’s and the continued collobartion they share today. Or is he just gonna put her out there like his American Idol peeps? Since Simon Cowell says she the child of Mariah and Whitney and sings at that level?
