I think the look is too young for her. She is not 21 and she never was that young on the show. The premise of the show is about single mature women in NY not some teeny bopper runway models. I love her and I love the show and it’s crazy fashions, but would appreciate efforts towards some more age appropriate…and fabulous of course!

It is utter CLASSIC HIGH Fasion, and that is partially what SATCity is about. I love the look, very high fashion-esque. The shoes are TO!DIE!FOR! The hair & makeup are FLAWLESS! And of course it isn’t something the NORMAL JOE-anna would wear on the street, but then again, most normal-joes aren’t as fabulous and fashion savvy as SJP & SATCity are! But again, let me make it clear, this is not normal-ghetto/commercial fashion, it is HIGH Fasion…and they do an amazing job at presenting it on this show! It’s outrageous and if I could afford those fashions, you best believe I would be flaunting it down the streets of SF and NYC too (guilty pleasure - VERSACE…ugh! I once spent my entire SF rent on a Versace coat…ohhhhh but it was worth it!)

you’re not the only person who’s ever been exposed to “High Fashion”. i’m sure everyone commenting has cable and has run across a show or two. even models and designers know that everything on the runway doesn’t translate to the street. sarah jessica ain’t doin it for me and several others. it’s not about having a “ghetto” sense of style or being used to “street” clothes or fashion. she looks a mess and it doesn’t work. she’s not hot - nothing about her is sexy. she’s the dog face girl, plain and simple. if you like it - maybe you are trying a little to hard to see what clearly isn’t there. folks that can’t afford this type of crap are usually the main fools gettin it….spending their RENT money an’thangs on some clothes just because some gay man w/ an accent says it’s hot. and before you call me a homophobe…i’m a lesbian. but we all know and even b.scott would agree, i’m sure - many fashion designers and men in the fashion industry are gay. ain’t nuthin new. anyway, get real.

folks don’t have to “pay attention” per se to fashion to know what they like and what they don’t. anyone of us could create something and it would look hideous on someone walking down the street but put it on the runway and folks will have it in a magazine quick fast and in a hurry. the point is - what works for the runway doesn’t always work for the street. beyond that you gotta be a bad bitch to pull it off on the street - of which sarah plain jane jessica is NOT. she’s a wrinkly ol white woman waaaay past her prime who’s gone overboard on the botox. she has no color, no shape, her face is draggin even as tightly as she’s had it pulled. she looks horrible. even if that frock were something to write home about, she’s not doing it justice. you’re caught up in the SATC girl-about-town-manhattan-living-cosmo-guzzlin fantasy like all the rest of these wannabes. get real.

I’m with you, nat. Right on! While a lot of high fashion is a bit out there and more artistic than streetwear, it is not automatically hot because a celebrity wears it. Personally, I may have dug this ensemble on a dozen other people. I just don’t dig her. At the same time, she’s is an offbeat beauty and can pull off the cooky look well. I am a fan of the show and often found myself going “What the **** is she wearing? But that’s just my opinion.

me no likey. Her shoes on the show were always hot. her wardrobe left a bad taste in my mouth most of the time. The best dressers are Charlotte and Samantha. Miranda wore suits most of the time. I still cant wait to see the movie
