January 23, 2008 Lenny Kravitz – Celibate For Three Years!
One of my future baby daddies, Lenny Kravitz told Maxim Magazine by way of Page Six that he’s been celibate for three years and going to wait until marriage. Lenny said, “Where I’m at in life, the women have got to come with something else, not just the body, but the mind and spirit. It usually trips them out, but that’s the way it’s going to be. I’m looking at the big picture.” Love muffins do you think Lenny Kravitz is telling the truth or not, because it’s hard for me to believe that someone as orgasmic as he is not getting his groove on in three years!

im sure he’s telling the truth. dont think a dude would make up sumthin in regards to being celibate.
I think celibacy allows u to TRULY GET TO KNOW A PERSON as opposed to sexin THEN getting to know them….. THAS BACKWARDS. Celibacy can allow u to truly see who is with u FOR WHO U ARE *MIND & SPIRIT* as opposed to just with u FOR UR GOODIES N BETWEEN…im just sayn!

Right on! I have no problem with those thoughts. It’s nice to see a man having the capability of valuing who he gives his body to just as women often do. I think that’s awesome. I believe him. You know I think in this day and age, sex is too big of a risk to just keep spreading yourself around. I know some people will say use condoms but there are diseases you can contract even w/the use of condoms. I know its hard to keep putting yourself out there and connecting physically to someone and not emotionally. As someone who has been celibate before I can say its worth it to hold out until you find someone.

Wow…kudos to him. I’m in good company. I, too, have been celibate for nearly 2 years.
Pepa, from Salt and Pepa fame, has been celibate for three years.
A lot of people are just tired of the shallowness of casual sex and/or non-committal sex. It is too risky, physically, emotionally, and spiritually to keep putting yourself out there like when STD’s are so prevalent. Sex has become so one-dimensional and non-descript. I want an intimate connection with a significant other. I believe that GOD will allow that person to come into my life at His (GOD) appointed time.

I too applaude Lenny and everyone else that desires to live a celibate life. I feel it can make any relationship worthwhile you take more time to get to know the person and connect on a deeper more meaningful level.

There is a picture book that is splendiforusly(?) delicious. You would not believe the pictures in this book. That picture amongst others are in this book. I commend him on his celibacy. I too am celibate a bit longer than Lenny. Can you imagine the lucky girl (damn, why can’t it be a guy) who he is going to break his celibacy for, if he does. All of that build up!!!
