Ashanti is trying to come back. Her first two singles, “Switch” and “Hey Baby”, tanked miserably. Now she’s set to release her new album, The Decleration, in March. “The Way I Love You” is a song that recently leaked I’m really feeling it. I think it’s a return to the catchy songs Ashanti is known for and she’s really trying to upgrade her vocal skills. There’s no word yet on whether or not this will be her first single but I wanted you guys to take a listen and tell me what you think of the song.

I am NOT an Ashanti fan and I have always thought she was a joke…but for her, I think this is actually a big improvement in the vocal area. I didn’t hate it…I actually kinda liked it. I do wish that a more powerful vocalist was singing it, but she did good lol.
