January 11, 2008 Work Your Weekend!
1. Drink This! “La Pinela”
Ever had caramelized pineapple? Think of this as a cold pineapple dessert in a glass with a splash of tequila. So refreshing!
2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
Lime wedge for rimming the glass
3 oz. silver tequila (such as Milagro)
3 oz. pineapple juice
1 oz. Licor 43 (Spanish vanilla-flavored liquor)
1 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
Combine cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl and transfer to a shallow dish; set aside. Run a lime over the glass and dip in cinnamon-sugar mixture. In a cocktail shaker, shake remaining ingredients and pour over ice into the sugar-rimmed glass.
2. Watch This! “Death at a Funeral”
The year 2007 was just a couple of weeks ago, so we can still suggest films that you should’ve seen when they came out. Dark British comedies never fail to hit the mark, and this one about a dysfunctional family gathering for their father’s funeral is hilarious! It stars Matthew MacFadyen, Keeley Hawes, Rupert Graves and Andy Nyman.
3. Wear This! “Louis Vuitton Monogram Mini Lin Croisette”

Talk about Spring greetings! Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2008 line is so light and airy, we had to feature it has a bag you should invest in as the weather starts to warm.
4. Hear This! Cherish’s “Shoe Fanatic”

This is definitely a track that leaked a while ago, potentially rumored to be the debut single from their second studio release set for this coming April. Obviously, that’s not true, but that doesn’t mean we can bounce to this bass. You know you want to pull out your Manolos when you hear this!
5. Do This! “Boutique Sale!”

All five of the Ron Herman stores in the LA area are having a blowout sale. What does this mean? Deep discounts on Citizens of Humanity t’s, Chloe bags, Cosa Nostra sweaters, Valli slingbacks and Cosabella lingerie…just to name a few. Get more info HERE.

I like Cherish…when they first came out, they made an appearance here in Dallas at a “back to school” event and sung acapella just to show people that they weren’t “studio singers”, and they can actually hold a note!
