I agree with the statement made above. It’s vanguard plain and simple and almost reminds me of the “Can You Feel It” video that the Jackson’s did at the end of thier career together (Victory Tour) it was amazing and I feel that she pushed the boundaries a lil further out for herself by doing the video in a way that was fresh, modern and lent itself to the energy of the track…pretty exciting visually and the choreography was tightly notched and trust me, you’ll be hard pressed to find any female performer out there who brings it the way she does…Period.

For her to be in the business for over 25years and listed the “Second” Richest Black Female in the Entertainment Business says alot.

For America (both) black, white, asian and latinos to be curious and on pins and needles about each and every project says alot. It says that folk are interested and that they believe in her past, present and obiviously her future endeavors.

She has paved the way for every young
female entertainer we see today. Most of her video concepts, dance moves and even here sense of style has been reworked and duplicated.

So dont think without some REAL knowledge of the what the business and longevity is really about!

…And she did do that ponytail for the kids btw…and they love her for it. I guess that’s why beyonce does the lace front..for the kids.

That’s what u call, a straight up genuine hater! And Beyonce has done plenty of wonderful videos waaayyyy better than this one, so don’t even go there!!!

Got Til Its gone was totally boobooed by most of the black community but I think we can see that Janet is isn’t catering to just them (as she did with 20 YO) she’s going with a more internation flavor.

I think the video will still be dissected and discussed.

So in essence, I love the song but wish it was more dancing (cause girl got moves fbetter than any chick in the game) and not all the special effects….

I like the video. She did the boom kats, gave it to you, and came different. Janet is not predictable and the disappointment of everyone comes from her not being predictable.

Also for those who are disappointed in the video, don’t worry, the live performance never disappoints. She won’t have special effects to hide behind. For example, I loved the live All Night performances more than the video.

But all I’m really saying is that my first day period ain’t heavy. Do your thing Janet girl!
