It is now being reported that Britney was screaming and crying in the hallway at Cedars-Sinai that she would rather die than “Let him have my babies,” and repeatedly declared that she wanted to die. Britney Spears was stripped and had her personal belongings taken away upon arrival at the hospital this morning. The singer arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center via ambulance shortly before 1 a.m. After a brief intake with a triage nurse she was turned over to the psychiatric ward. “She was immediately stripped by security of her clothing, to prevent her from potentially harming herself,” an insider tells PageSix.com. “She had her personal items taken away as well, and all the items were put in a bag and a safe by security.” Britney was then examined by a psychiatrist who asked the singer countless questions, including whether she wanted to harm herself or others. A doctor also questioned Kevin Federline about his ex-wife’s mental state.
Britney is currently on 72-hour psych hold at the L.A. hospital after a dramatic showdown last night in which she refused to hand over custody of her children to ex-husband Kevin Federline.
“In order to be on a 72-hour hold in the state of California you have to have be an imminent danger to yourself or others.” Dr. Halperin tells PageSix.com. So what happens next? At the end of the three days, Britney will be evaluated and if doctors determine that she is no longer a danger to herself or others, she will have the option to voluntarily sign in for more treatment or leave. Halperin says it’s possible she’ll be placed on a 14-day hold, but that it’s difficult to do. “The patient must be severely suicidal or psychotic.” “Her random behavior clearly exhibits that she is disturbed,” Dr. Halperin adds. “Obviously her treatment was not successful and she did not learn the tools she needs to stay sober.”

this is so upsetting to see. THE POOR GIRL OBVIOUSLY NEEDS HELP. I hope she gets well. She is too much of a entertainer to leave so early. I would die too if I was her than let that bitch nigga KEVIN have my babies. HE IS TRASH! MAN is it me or am I the only one who hates him. If it wasn’t for him, she wouldn’t be like this at all. IT is all his fault. I can’t stand him. Who would want to give their babies to a white trash user! HE used her love and now money. It is so sad to see her fall like that over him and he is SO not worth it. She isn’t strong at all. Letting him get to her like that and all of this. It is sad. No wonder she is crazy as hell and would probably commit suicide. Who wants to give their babies to kevin federline? He just sucks ass so much. Fuck him. Damn!

As for Brit Brit. I will say a prayer but unfortionately people only get it when they get it. I’m curious though how she’s still bringing in 700k a month per E!.

im scared for britney. i’ve been one of the few that has still supported her completely. She’s human just like you and me, people make mistakes. if everyone was photographed everyday, if everyone had no privacy, i know we will be distraught too..i love her and hope she recovers. i hope she does not take her own life. =(..this picture of her almost made me cry!! love you b scott and britney!

Not at all shocked…I knew it would come to this. Hell I couldn’t handle that much attention on my life where every sneeze, bowel movement, etc has a picture to it.
She needs to just go to a secluded spot on her own property in the deep woods of Louisiana with pit bulls, rottweilers, and armed security guards instructed to shoot anything on the property that doesn’t belong.
She needs to get it together cause no one else can do it for her but her. Stop the madness cause I am done with it. I am not amused anymore cause this chick is about to end her own life.

it is funny , that i was out to day and we mentioned her and how america is obsessed with other’s misery …. Well it has happened it was only a little bit of time that she finally snapped … i knew it was coming , finally some emotion about those babies . church lady , do i detect jealousy …. britney is not like other single mothers ,unfortunately she is a celeb , when my mom got sick , i don’t remember helicopters , paps , police cars by the 10’s./

Britney get over $700,000 per month. She has more than enough money for some kind of theraphy yet she chooses meth or whatever to numb her pain. She needs God in her life and spirituality to help to cope with life not drugs and alcohol.

Brittaney really needs this. She needs the time to get her mind right for a good bit for months. Cause every since she gotten pregnant she’s been the major talk of news channels and the big money in magazines for numerous ridiculous things that leads up to this breakdown-Shaving her head, the letter to her mother, spazzing out, clubbing, etc. obviously she was going through some deep emotional issues. I hope Brittaney take this treatment (or whatever it is she’s in right now) as a time to relax herself so she can be well enough to mother those boys.

Everyone needs to realize how hard it would be to live your life in the spotlight and the world looking on as you make your mistakes in life. I really hope she gets back on track. I am praying for her, the boys, and her family & friends. Please everyone just back off and allow her to live her life!!
