Love muffins you can “Lean On Me”…

I decided to share with you this Sunday one of the over 20 messages of similar nature that I have received in response to my “B. Scott Breaks Down – It’s Okay Love Muffin!” YouTube video which discusses how a young gay guy was thinking about suicide due to him being constantly tormented by people in his community and being abandoned by his family. The first email that caused me to do the video was so extremely saddening for me to deal with, but love muffins what’s truly even more hurtful and frightening to me is that video only has been viewed 2,882 times and I have received over 20 emails like the one below!

“hi b, I want to thank you b/c my brother was being teased in school b/c he’s gay and he said he was going to harm himself until he went to your page and saw a video you were doing in response to someone else.. Thanks you saved my brothers life. Me and my ENTIRE family is forever in debt to you. You were truly sent her but the almighty. Stay BLESSED.

PS: It’s easy to over look somebody else’s pain when your living the “right life” but you haven’t forgot about those who’s cared to speak for themselves.

I’m a very strong, confident, secure person but these emails have honestly been a lot for my soul to bare. I experience constant hurt at the thought of these so called “outsiders” that have and are experiencing what I have been through my entire life not being as strong as me to go on. But through it all including what I have been through in my childhood – I have realized my true God-given purpose which is to achieve and express whatever I was destined and created to become in order to encourage others! Certainly the lord with guide where I need to go! As I say take me higher lord!
