American Film Institute (AFI) released this years’ top film and television nominations for their 2007 awards honoring excellence in film and television.

Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up, finally received some recognition for being a great film as it rounded out the top ten list. AFI also recognized films like Michael Clayton and No Country For Old Men.

Atonement, (starring Keira Knightley) the film that was nominated for seven Golden Globes did not make the list.

We’re also happy to announce Ugly Betty and Everybody Hates Chris made it to the list as two of the top television series of 2007!
