December 14, 2007 Britney Spears: Not “Well Enough” to Be Invited on American Idol
Is Britney worthy of being a guest judge on Fox’s American Idol? Well, not according to one of the producers of the show!
American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe told Usmagazine.com during a conference call “I would have had Britney Spears last year when I thought she was trying to get it all back together again.” He continued: “Britney, at this moment in time, I don’t think is well enough to do anything,” “I think she needs looking after. I think she needs to pull herself together.”
Lythgoe added that Spears is an “exceptionally talented girl” but “needs taking care of right now.” Thoughts love muffins?

I think the only thing Britney is ‘exceptionally talented’ at is fucking up. She’s mediocre at best at everything else.

Judging by her new video, Britney is getting back to her old self and why would people say such narrow things about her when it was them who made hit the official rock, of all the bottoms??? i think what she needs is people not telling her what she needs! ha! Oh and think she’ll be a perfect judge on American Idol – she knows the music better then anyone, the music industry was invented for her!

To say the music industry was amde for Britney is insulting to every other extremely talented artist out there.
To challenge me to name a singer more famous than Britney spears is laughable. There are loads.
And finally, while youre at it, I think you should read up on it too. Heres how quotes work –
If you say something and it’s repeated, captured in some form etc, it’s a quote. So therefore, when I repeated what you were saying I was quoting you.

I did no such thing. I didn’t imply it was a third party quote at all. I directly quoted your sentance. How it can be seen as anything otherwise is beyond me.
And you know, I actually don’t mind Britney. I bought the album and everything.
But i’m not gonna make ridiculous statements that I can’t back up about any artist, especially not one a kleptomaniac with a pharmaceutical problem.
