Isn’t her career over now? Why is she still releasing music? Isn’t she 40 something? I’m tired of seeing her doing those stiff ass dance moves and bad vocals. 20 Y.O. SUCKED and so does this single. That’s MY FEEDBACK!!!

Ummm, Melissa, Janet’s career isn’t over. Why? Because she’s still making albums. Simple as. If her career was over, it would have been over after 20 Y.O. album. She’s still got fans, and she’s still got people looking out for her. And she’s STILL making hot music.
As for 20 Y.O., sure, it wasn’t her comeback album, but I actually still think it was a decent effort. It had some good tracks on it, just needed a little more work and a little less Jermaine Dupri. And tons better marketing, I mean, really…the album would have been a lot bigger if “So Excited” had been the first single. That track was the ish.
Oh, and let’s not forget that a MAJOR reason Janet’s recent efforts haven’t been doing as well is because MTV blacklisted her after Nipplegate. I hope they don’t do that this time around. I mean, seriously, she’s suffered enough for that ONE titty.

melissa did you even LISTEN to the song??? it’s hot! 20 Y.O. sucked but that was because her and jermaine lack that in studio chemistry to really bring it– and just because beyonce shakes it hither and yon don’t make her better – they all learned from JJ (and continue to jack her swagger) – don’t forget that!

Even with her last two albums bombing Janet still made the top ten list as one of the richest women in entertainment. That is far from being OVER!

I wish people would stop hatin on Janet. Damita Jo and 20 Y.O. were not bad albums. To this day white people are still attacking Janet for her performance at the super bowl. While promoting “Why Did I Get Married” Tyler Perry had to defend her when a reporter started attacking her. Her sales have dropped because she no longer has the white community supporting her. I also believe that her choice for first singles were weak. I Want U and Call On Me were cute songs but So Excited or Get it Out Me should have been first for 20. All Nite (Don’t Stop) should have been for Damita Jo. Both albums went platinum, which is something that does not happen much today. Not many artist pull multi-platinum albums today. Feedback is a hot track. It is something that is fun and exciting and people can dance to this. I welcome Janet back. I cannot wait to hear the new album.
