Alex Trebek, long time host of TV game show, Jeopardy, suffered a mild heart attack at his home on Monday night. Currently, recovering in a local Los Angeles hospital, reps say Trebek is expected to make a full recovery and resume taping for the show in January.
In January 2004, Alex Trebek escaped a serious car accident when he fell asleep at the wheel, and ended up demolishing a row of mailboxes and wound up in a ditch. The accident occured in Templeton, CA, near Trebek’s thoroughbred horse ranch.
Trebek has hosted Jeopardy since 1984, has won several daytime Emmy awards, and currently lives with his wife and two children.
