December 10, 2007 Michael Vick Sentenced to 23 Months!
Former NFL star Michael Vick has been sentenced to 23 months (almost two years) in prison for dogfighting and conspiracy. As you love muffins my recall in August, Vick pleaded guilty to operating a dogfighting ring on his Virginia property and assisting in killing dogs involved in the fights. Vick could have faced up to five years in prison, thoughts?

I wonder if he will get the same treatment that Paris and Nicole got and get out tomorrow morning? Doubt it.
I hope he can bounce back from this. Time will tell because I know dudes are going to try him in the pen.

He got what he deserved. Simple as that. Folks keep forgetting he broke the law and what he did to those dogs (him and his crew) was just vile. Kinda scary the people we look up to in our society, huh?

they are trying to make an example out of this man. and its a damn shame. yes what he did was a terrible thing and he deserves to be punished but almost 2 years (although i doubt he will stay in that long) is pushing it!! My personal opinion: Probation for however long and a fine from the NFL is adequate
