UGK group member Chad “Pimp C” Butler was found dead in a hotel room on the morning of Dec 4th, 2007 at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood, California, after Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a 911 call. They arrived to his sixth floor hotel room to find him dead in bed. This was three days after he performed with Too $hort at the House of Blues in Los Angeles

This was horrible news to us all in the Hip Hop community! Rather you may like him or not, he will be another who will always remain in Hip Hop history. Free Pimp C, was one of the biggest organized/positive movement we have seen in a while. (Well most of it).
