B…I knew you would snag her back in. I was so not surprised when she made her comment. I will admit that I’m a View watcher…so I can almost predict when she is going to say something real “ignant”!

As a black gay man, I was so unphased by her opinion though. You said it best in your recent video…I AM GAY…GAY means happy. So I absolutely REFUSE to let people like her dampen my happiness. She’s entitled to her opinion and can run her house accordingly…but her opinion has ZERO merit outside of her home. Just like my opinion about her botched up wigs that she allows them to put on her everyday. She needs to contest that 5 yr contract Babs gave her and demand a Star Jones wig clause. SJR wore wigs everyday…and hair was never a flaw.

I love you B for bringing subject matter like this to the forefront. K has some good points and I do agree that we cannot judge people who make a decision to repress their homosexual urges to strengthen their spiritual relationships with a higher power. This world is sooo full of variance, who’s to say there’s no such thing as “reformed homosexuals”? It may not be the norm but I do believe it’s possible.

I also agree w/ you B though. The heterosexual church community needs to get things right on that side of the fence b4 they try to dabble in other peoples bizness. It’s always easier to stand on a soapbox and preach instead of putting in the work to make sure you life is a living example of the gospel you preach.

They should not have let Star go. I am soo mad that they replaced a highly intelligent Black woman with the mess that is Sherry. I mean she is barely funny as a comedian, why did they think she had something to add to the show. She is an embarrassment to herself and her community. Weakest link needs to be dismissed.

On another note, I think I agree with you that there is no such thing as a reformed homosexual, but if ppl truly believe they need to repress those urges to be close to God, then I think we should not judge them. Although that was mad rude of them to come up to you in the airport like that. I def second that the homophobic church needs to stop alienating folks and really shine a spotlight on the hypersexuality of the heterosexual community. we seriously have way tooo many baby mommas and baby daddys and not enough husbands and wives.

i completely agree with you on most of that. the only thing i take issue with is outsiders i.e the rest of the View panel this morning, passing judgment and telling her how she should raise her child. right or wrong, thats he child. if thats how she wants to raise him, so be it.
