Lord knows I love my music videos and 2007 gave me plenty to savor. Particularly I thought Gwen Stefani’s video for “The Sweet Escape” was not only visually groundbreaking but she looked drop-dead gorgeous in it as well. Some of the videos that I thought were particularly visually stimulating included:
Gwen Stefani – The Sweet Escape
Kanye West – Stronger
Feist – 1,2,3,4
Beyonce – Get Me Bodied
Maroon 5 – Makes Me Wonder
Rihanna – Umbrella

We all know that celebrities are human beings and they can make catastrophic mistakes like the rest of us. The only difference is their mistakes are played out in the public forum for all the world to see. Here is my list of the dumbest moves of 2007!
- Miss Teen South Carolina Gives American A Bad Name
- OJ Simpson Tries To Publish A Book Called “If I Did It”
- Michael Vick Is Caught In Dog-Fighting Fiasco
- Lynn Spears Plans To Author Book Giving Parenting Advice (I’ll Pass)
- Girls Going Pantyless (Paging Britney, Paris, and Lindsay!)

What a representation of hope! Let me tell you their video makes me cry tears of joy every time I watch it! Indeed, this has to be the sweetest and most encouraging expression of support that has been done for me this year (maybe my life), it totally touched my heart – so young, innocent and unafraid to express themselves! Thank you my two dearest love muffins for giving to take me higher into 2008!
And in case you’re wondering what song my two little love muffins were dancing to in their video! Check out the banging track below, enjoy!

This year I went to the movies quite a bit. All in all, I enjoyed the range of movies that debuted this year, from summer blockbusters to smaller independent films. Here were the movies that I found to be simply splendiferous.
- The Bourne Ultimatum
- Hairspray
- I Am Legend
- The Kingdom
- Knocked Up
- Sicko
- Sweeny Todd
- Transformers
Which were the movies that made you stand up and applaud this year?

All though the Writers Strike left a bad taste in my mouth toward the end of the year, there was still quite a bit of good television in the year 2007. Some shows made a comeback after horrible slums (Desperate Housewives, anyone), others were guilty pleasures, and some shows had me on the edge of my seat all season. Here’s my list:
- Brothers and Sisters (ABC)
- Dexter (Showtime)
- Desperate Housewives (ABC)
- Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)
- Rome (HBO)
- Tudors (Showtime)
What had you glued to the TV this year?
This year Cate Blanchett killed everyone with her stunning magazine covers and red carpet dresses. Her style classic, modern, and the epitome of glamour. No matter where she was this year, she always looked splendiferously stunning. Check out some of her eye-catching looks this year!
Honorable Mention:

I also have to give it up for Reese Witherspoon and Rihanna for serving up some major hotness every time their stilettos hit the red carpet this year. Reese’s style this year was sleek and sexy while Rihanna deserves to be on this list if only for bringing the bob back into style. These two fashionistas were definitely ones to watch this year.

Beyonce and Jennifer Garner also stood out in 2007 when it came to rocking fashionable threads. Jennifer Garner lost her baby weight and looked better than ever while Beyonce experimented with high fashion in a unique way this year.
Who do you think had the best fashion year in 2007!

David Beckham arrived stateside this year and with his Armani underwear campaign he showed that he truly has the “full package”. This year Matthew McConaughey was simply ASS-tastic. This man could not find a shirt to wear if his life depended on it but I’m not complaining one bit.

Other men that were off the hook this year were:
- Mario Lopez
- Shemar Moore
- Jonathan Rhys Myers
- Chris Evans
- Djimon Hounsou
- Adam Levine
