Rocking a divine strapless Alexander McQueen ensemble Nicole Kidman was a picture of red carpet perfection at the 41st Annual Country Music Awards at the Sommet Center in Nashville, TN on Wednesday. Nicole was on hand to support her husband Keith Urban who was up for a number of awards including Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and the coveted Entertainer of the Year. (A) (B. Scott clapping for Nicole Kidman!)
Carrie Underwood was the bell of the ball at the the 41st Annual Country Music Awards in Nashville, TN on Wednesday. Rocking a sunflower yellow strapless chiffon ensemble Carrie performed her new hit single, “So Small” during the show and won awards for “Single of the Year” (for “Before He Cheats”) and the “Female Vocalist of the Year”. Congrats Carrie, you deserve it!
Well it seems like tomorrow might bring some more bad news for Brit-Brit due to her violating the Commissioner’s drug testing order.
Sources say K-Fed’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, will go before L.A. County Commissioner Scott Gordon tomorrow morning, arguing that Britney has failed to respond in a timely manner when she is called for random drug testing. We’re told Kaplan will ask to modify the existing custody order, giving Britney limited visitation rights.
We’re told neither Britney nor K-Fed will be present. And, we’re told, this could be a real dogfight.
At this point I’m sick of her and K-Fed’s constant childishness and think their two boys should either go to their grandparents or just put up for adoption! What they need is a stable home!
As she completes an astounding sold-out five-year run, Celine Dion sets out in splendiferous and new creative directions with her upcoming release, Taking Chances, which I believe to be her most personal and revelatory collection of songs and performances in her stellar career. Recorded mainly over a three-period in July 2007 at Palm Studios in Las Vegas, Taking Chances finds Celine collaborating with a group of today’s top songwriters and producers including Linda Perry (Pink, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera), the Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart, ex-Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody, chart-topping R&B/pop songwriter Ne-Yo, and many more.
Love muffins I have had the opportunity of listening to an advance of Celine Dion’s Taking Chances and I must say I was blown away by her vocal prowess and the detailed production behind each track. You must go out next Tuesday, November 13th and experience this album! (A) For more information go to CelineDion.com!
