Hate It or Love It? Rihanna in Leopard!

November 30, 2007

Rihanna steps out at the Bambi Awards in a full length leopard print dress. Not everyone can or should wear a leopard print dress and purple shoes. Did she pull it off? Do we hate it or love it?

On one hand: I love leapard print. It’s universal.

On the other hand: I do NOT love that frumpy dress style. There’s either too much fabric or not enough. Because the bulges and stretches and wrinkles are not doing any favors for Rihanna’s figure. Also, while I love risk taskers, I don’t think the purple shoes quite set it off. The color’s too dull, so they’re just there looking awkward instead of adding a bright splash of contrast. And, if she were going to wear loud shoes in the first place, she should have worn a shorter dress cut that would have shown them off.

Verdict: Her stylist must have been on vacation and tried to help her out over the phone. HATE IT.

She looks nice. Something is off about the dress. Maybe it would be cuter strapless

I like the dress but I don’t like the way she’s standing in that one pic she’s giving that Beyonce hip but don’t have enough hip to give it so she looks distorted.

She is rockin’ it! Rihanna is never afraid to add a little edginess to an otherwise safe ensemble. But her edginess is not overdone and the purple is actually a great undertone, I love it! Her stylist is on point!

I hate it! I love leopard print, but the dress is ill fitting and the shoes are an awkward color.

not feeling it…the only person who could rock the animal print dress was Aaliyah, she wore it at the last MTV awards right before she died and she was one fierce mama…rhianna is no Aaliyah

I actually like the print on her but damn those ugly purple bedroom shoes. It’s an eyesore. Eva kind of showed her up though. She was on point.

Hate it. Leopard print compliments her skin but the dress reminds me of one of my grandmothers night gowns

i’d love the dress if it hadnt been full length. Shorter and with red or black heels, since when did leopard & purple become ok in fashion?
