Example - during Mariahs 'Charmbracelet' era, the fans wanted 'Clown' to be released - but simply because it was lyrically clever, personal to Mariah and a blast over Eminems nastiness rather than stopping and thinking 'but will people A) listen to the lyrics or B) listen to the production and go 'yeah this tunes sick'? Really, they'd do neither, but fans don't think like that.
