November 21, 2007 Love Muffin Request: Thousand-Hand Guan Yin Dance
In honor of Thanksgiving being tomorrow and Paris being in China, here’s a video one of my love muffins, Brittany, sent me splendiferous of the Thousand-Hand Guan Yin dance! So watch the video and then read what she wrote below!

Hello. This is Brittany. I just wanted to send you this video that I found while doing research for a paper. You have to watch it, it’s one of the coolest things I’ve seen. It’s called the 1,000 hand Guanyin (god/goddes-> depending on who you ask<- of compassion) dance. I think there are like 21 girls doing the dance, and it is amazing. This dance is created in reference to the god having 1000 hands to reach out to all people in suffering. I know you are a Christian, but it's nice to appreciate other faiths, especially when it's something so masterfull as this, and it's positive. Thanks for reading.

I also found out, while still doing research
, that all 21 of the girls are hearing impaired!!! That’s so amazing, and it’s beautiful!
