One of my idols talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey, broke down in tears on Saturday as she apologized for the recent alleged allegations of physical and sexual abuse at her $40 million girls’ school in South Africa.

“I trusted her (Dr Mzimane). When I appointed her, I thought she was passionate about the children of Africa.

“But, I’ve been disappointed,” Oprah said in tears last Saturday.

The father of one of the pupils had responded by telling Oprah: “It’s not your fault. We don’t blame you.”

“You trusted them. You have more passion for the school and its existence than anyone else in this country, including us parents.”

Oprah gave parents the assurance she would do everything possible to ensure that those who had been guilty of abuse would be dealt with.

It’s sad when you are trying to do good and something like this happens! Oprah’s “daughters” have accused Dr. Mzimane of failing to take action, although the girls had often complained of being grabbed by the neck, beaten and thrown against a wall, and being sworn at.

Love muffins please take the time to evaluate who you call your “friends” because if you don’t you’re just asking for unnecessary negative distractions in your life. One thing is for sure, life is short; do you really want to spend it around people who really aren’t your friends?

Checkout the HQ radio rip of Leona Lewis’ new single “Angel” off her upcoming debut album Spirit, in stores November 12th. I don’t think this is a good choice for her second single. I’m not impressed with the song in anyway and I wonder how many times she said you’re an angel? Thoughts?

Beyonce recorded the song “If” for the B’Day Deluxe Edition. Recently, a version of Mario singing the same song surfaced. Although it will not be on his upcoming album Go, its good to hear the song interpreted two different ways. Let me know what you think about the songs. Who did it better or are they both whack?
