  I couldn’t believe you were talking about this – I just “lost” a close friend of 18 years because he couldn’t see beyond his close mindedness about what I want for myself……you made me cry this morning while watching you, love muffin, but I think it’s a good thing and it helps to know I am not alone.

  I feel you. These are the lessons I am trying to teach my daughter. Not everyone in life will like you and you don’t really need everyone to like you. If you do then you will live a most unhappy, miserable life. Love yourself and you will be able to love others and able to accept being loved by others. These are basic things but some many people get all the way through their lives without ordinary self-esteem.

  i love the fact that you did at least listen this person out. criticism is always good to hear. it allows us to check ourselves and see what other people think and see about us.

  so, the person telling you that foolishness wasn’t a bad thing, they just felt the need to tell you and now you know where they stand! consider it a good thing, now you don’t have to waste your time with them any longer!
