October 26, 2007 Work Your Weekend!
1. Drink This! “Raspberry-Lime Rickey”

It may not be summer time, but that doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate a cold, fruity drink. It’s still hot in LA, so you can test it out this weekend.
2 cup unsweetened frozen raspberries
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1/4 cup sugar
16 oz seltzer
1 cup vodka or light rum
Combine frozen raspberries, lime juice, sugar and seltzer in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
2. Watch This! “Transformers” on DVD

Transformers was so hot this summer! Hollywood is quick to toss a movie onto DVD, and this flick dropped on Tuesday. Sales of the DVD have topped records already with the movie coming in at an estimated 8.3 million units sold Pick it up or drop it into your next Netflix order.
3. Wear This! “Rock Those Party Shoes”

Holiday time is coming up. Whether you’re going to a company party or already preparing for New Year’s Eve, make sure you have your shoe game tight. Nothing catches the eye more than a hot pair of heels!
4. Hear This! Shapeshifters “Incredible”
If there’s any song that will make you feel radiant on a Friday (or any day for that matter), it’s “Incredible” from the Shapeshifters. If you don’t know about this British group, please educate yourself. They first hit the scene with the club hit “Lola’s Theme” in 2004, and they just released a new single—”New Day”—this month. No matter what, “Incredible” is still our fave!
5. Do This! “The Real Day of the Dead”

It’s the weekend of Halloween, and people are prepping for a few days of craziness! Although the costumes and candy can be fun, there is some history behind this season for a lot of different people. If you’re in LA, and you’re looking for something different to do during the Halloween weekend, check out the Dia de Los Muertos festival at Hollywood Forever memorial park. Get more info HERE.
