Some of Britney Spears’ former friends are calling for a boycott of Blackout to force her clean up her act.
“Our message is simple,” says one of the organizers of the Be Proactive to Help Website. “Don’t buy her stuff until she’s better.”
The MySpace-based page was created by people who used to work with Britney, including a bodyguard, backup dancer and makeup artist, as well as several old friends.
“We’ve all hung out with Britney a lot,” says our source. “We’ve seen her at her best and at her worst. And we aren’t doing this to be mean. We’re doing this out of concern, for herself and for her boys. They need a mother figure and right now, they don’t have that.”

I have to give Brit Brit Kudos! Despite all that is surrounding her in the media, on television and in the courtroom; she is still going to show her face. They have tried to take away her kids and she has an x who is clearly fighting her to maintain his bank account and people are suing her. Despite all of that and than some stuff we don’t even know about, girl is still standing! All of the haters can hate all they want to because if Brit Brit never makes another record, she set for life! There is only one Britney! Oops!

That is bananas for real…I mean this is her job and she has to support herself and her family. True she needs help and guidence, but THAT reguest/suggestion is pure madness. “Friends” need to go back to the drawing board on that one, but then again I can se WHY they are “former” also.

I find that idea silly, she needs at least something right in her life and don’t make her music suffer too. It’s not like she will go on tour with her crazy life, so just let her album do well.

I honestly think this will give her the wake up call she needs. Whenever money stops rolling in EVERYONE wakes the f*ck up. Maybe this will work. However I still think I’m going to buy the cd. :- )

dee i have to agree with you … i don’t think britney has self esteem issues … remember marlon brando , he got hip quick , and got the fuck out of hollywood and brought an island … these people are blood suckers , how do you know they are who they say they are … She really pissed someone off at the top , you know they are just trying to sabatage her ,.

Think about it for a moment. Brit Brit is constantly in the media because of where she lives and everyone is after her money. If you look hard enough she looks very sad to me and on the verge of crying. Girl has to hold her head high and keep standing no matter what happens to her on paper. For the first time she gets to be herself. Hsven’t you ever went out looking unkempt with your hair looking whack? Than of course we don’t have the media following us around. I like Britney, she is a trooper!
